Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer for a leading enterprise organization in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Azure DevOps Engineer role is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite in the office. The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment automation within Microsoft Azure environments. An ideal candidate for the Azure DevOps Engineer role is an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. Responsibilities of the
Azure DevOps Engineer:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to support automation and consistency.
  • Administer and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management solutions across enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure cloud best practices and operational excellence.
Qualifications of the
Azure DevOps Engineer:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SSO solutions using technologies such as Azure AD/Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar platforms. Compensation for the Azure DevOps Engineer includes:
  • Salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
