Application Programmer#26-05372 Plano, TX Pennington, NJ Charlotte, NC On-site Contract Starts 7/06/2026 Ends 7/05/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Oracle Database Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is for a senior Oracle Database Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintainingplex PL/SQL database solutions. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable data models, performance tuning SQL and PL/SQL, and ensuring data integrity. The developer will collaborate with application, architecture, and DevOps teams within a structured SDLC environment to support stable enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintainplex PL/SQL-based database solutions Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable data models Tune SQL and PL/SQL for high performance Ensure data integrity and reliability Support database migrations and upgrades Resolve production issues Work closely with application, architecture, and DevOps teams Participate in design reviews and follow SDLC, change management, and regulatory standards

Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle databases (11g, 12c, or 19c) in enterprise environments Advanced PL/SQL programming andplex SQL development skills Deep knowledge of indexes, partitions, transactions, locking, and the cost-based optimizer Proven expertise in performance tuning using tools such as AWR, ASH, and Explain Plan Experience with Agile development methodologies Familiarity with DevOps practices Desired skills: Skilled in data modeling Experience handling large and high throughput databases Understanding of data warehousing concepts Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines Scripting experience Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
