Senior Java Developer Location :
Columbus, OH and Plano or Houston, TX 15+ Years experience required W2 Only Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance ✅ Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies Prior tech lead / team lead experience managing engineers Strong understanding of: CI/CD pipelines Automation and DevOps practices Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Application resiliency & security Experience working in Agile environments Domain exposure to Financial Services / Banking systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field ⭐ Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of OOP principles & design patterns Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable Java code Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: EC2 S3 Lambda Cloud-native application development experience
