Job Description
Software Developer - ACWS DSA Inc. 5418 S Scott Plaza (Show on map) Sep 01, 2026 All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.
Software Developer Summary:
Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and modernizes software capabilities, integrations, APIs, services, and application components while supporting secure Agile delivery, defect resolution, and production sustainment.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ Years developing enterprise software with Java and/or .NET, APIs, databases, web services, or related technologies.
CompTIA Security+
Experience supporting Agile delivery, including user stories, sprint-based development, peer reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and release activities.
Experience with AWS cloud services, containerized environments, Kubernetes, API development, and relational databases
Working knowledge of AI-enabled developer productivity, code analysis, or automation tools.
Active Secret Clearance Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Army, DoD, ACWS, VCE, contracting, financial, or federal enterprise systems.
Experience with Appian integrations, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, or legacy modernization.
Appian Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure ACWS application components, integrations, and services.
- Implement user stories, resolve defects, conduct unit testing, and support sprint delivery.
- Analyze production issues and coordinate durable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, DevSecOps, and stakeholders.
Support refactoring, modernization, documentation, and technical debt reduction. #DSA209 #LI-JE1 The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. DSA - Salary Pay Range $130,000 - $140,000 USD Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
