Application Programmer Genesis10 life insurance, 401(k) United States, Jersey, Jersey City May 08, 2026 Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Python Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is for a Senior Python Developer with experience in REST, ReactJS, and the financial services industry, specifically within Global Markets. The successful candidate will be engaged in addressing several audit items and working on front-office applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain front-office applications for banking services Utilize Python, REST, and ReactJS for full-stack development Collaborate on resolving and completing various audit-related tasks Engage in domain-specific data analysis as a quantitative researcher and developer

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, specifically Python 3+ years of experience as a senior developer on front-office applications in banking services 3+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher and developer with the ability to handle domain-specific data analysis 3+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or full-stack development Experience with Object Databases along with Relational Databases Desired skills: Knowledge of Fixed Income products 2+ years of experience in risk and pricing application development Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets Subject matter expertise working on a proprietary trading platform Pay rate: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
