Job Description:

We are seeking a Mainframe Batch Support Analyst with strong experience in Mainframe Batch Processing to join a leading healthcare enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in mainframe technologies, production support, batch scheduling, and troubleshooting complex batch job issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, support, and maintain mainframe batch processing environments. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve batch job failures and performance issues. Develop, modify, and support JCL and COBOL programs as needed. Manage batch schedules, job dependencies, and data processing workflows. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues. Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth production operations. Support incident management, problem management, and production releases. Optimize batch processing performance and improve operational efficiency. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies, particularly Batch Processing. Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, and related mainframe tools and environments. Experience supporting production environments and handling batch schedules. Strong understanding of job dependencies, data processing, and batch performance optimization. Ability to independently analyze and resolve production issues with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with CICS.
