We are looking for a Monitoring and Observability Architect for our client in

$51hr - $56hr
Requirement/Must Have:
Proven experience designing enterprise observability and monitoring architectures. Strong knowledge of monitoring frameworks for applications, infrastructure, networks, and cloud-native platforms. Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, New Relic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics. Experience implementing distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or Zipkin. Experience designing centralized logging and log aggregation solutions. Strong understanding of SLI, SLO, SLA, and error budget concepts. Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Experience:
Experience integrating observability into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation. Experience implementing APM, RUM, synthetic monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring solutions. Experience supporting major incident investigations and root cause analysis. Experience implementing security controls, including RBAC and secure data handling practices.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement enterprise observability architecture aligned with business and IT objectives. Establish standards, governance, and best practices for monitoring and alerting. Architect and deploy monitoring and observability platforms across hybrid environments. Implement distributed tracing and centralized logging solutions. Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to enhance system reliability and performance. Define intelligent alerting strategies to reduce noise and improve response times. Enable root cause analysis and performance optimization initiatives. Ensure monitoring solutions meet security and compliance requirements. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architecture presentations to stakeholders and governance boards.
Should Have:
Experience driving enterprise-wide monitoring transformation initiatives. Experience working in highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments. Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
Skills:
Observability architecture and monitoring strategy. Cloud and hybrid infrastructure monitoring. Distributed tracing and log aggregation. DevOps and SRE collaboration. Incident management and performance optimization. Security and compliance integration.
Qualification and Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
