Job Description

Looking for a highly motivated bilingual (English/Spanish) individual to create and build strong relationships with local area employers/organizations that will provide ongoing opportunities for training and employment to farmworkers and their dependents - in the National Farmworker Jobs Program. To assist, support, encourage and motivate program participants through the training and employment process. This position is responsible to accomplish the goals of delivering excellent customer service including career discovery and development, job placement and retention, emergency, support, and referral services. Demonstrated technical and interpersonal skills and /or marketing skills with specific emphasis on the issues of farmworkers and their dependents populations. Administers, analyze and interpret assessment results, and employment barriers to formulate employment and training plan of action. Attend all required PathStone trainings for program and individual development. Collaboration with agency representatives, community groups, and area employers to determine appropriate employment trends and needs. Compiles, interprets, analyzes and submits field office data in a timely manner. Conducts job development with local employers to create and secure training and job placement opportunities for participants. Conducts outreach to farm labor camps within the state to disseminate information and identify/recruit eligible participants. Administer participant's assessments to asses academic needs. Delivers appropriate classroom Curriculum. Develop and maintains accurate Employment Plans, contracts, monitoring reports, termination paperwork. Development and maintenance of written participant's employment plans. Disseminates program information to employers and community organizations. Serve on committees and boards to advocate for target populations and PathStone's services. Furnish updates on employment and training participants in case management records and meetings. Initiates and organized labor market studies for quality job development. Maintains and monitors complete and accurate records and files on all participants. Include flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends, extensive travel.
