In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, drafting, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop custom-engineered solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Work closely with drafters, engineers, supervisors, and manufacturing teams to develop documentation for customer orders and quotations.
Create and maintain:
Electrical and mechanical drawings
Wiring diagrams
Bills of Material (BOMs)
Engineering documentation packages
Review and verify drawings and BOMs prepared by team members.
Ensure application designs comply with applicable standards, codes, and customer specifications.
Support quotation, sales, and customer teams in selecting the proper products and solutions.
Release completed order packages to production.
Generate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NMRs).
Provide technical support for daily production activities, switch racks, and project work.
Support manufacturing teams by troubleshooting engineering-related issues.
Provide electrical engineering guidance and support to drafters and designers.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering workflows and processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in:
Electrical Engineering, or
Mechanical Engineering
Experience using AutoCAD
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
Motor control design
Switchgear
Switch racks
Knowledge of hazardous location standards:
NEC
CEC
IEC
ATEX
Hands-on electrical testing experience
Manufacturing or industrial engineering experience
