Job Overview Must be based in or around Reno Nevada. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Engineer to join our technology team, driving the development of scalable, high-performance systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust software solutions that power our core services. Your expertise in a variety of programming languages, system design principles, and cloud infrastructure will enable us to deliver seamless digital experiences to our users. Responsibilities Own the services and infrastructure supporting our autonomy and teleoperation pipelines, from sensor acquisition through operator interfaces and data recording. Build and optimize ROS 2 systems for reliable, low-latency communication between sensors, autonomy software, and vehicle control systems. Develop high-performance data pipelines for efficiently capturing, transporting, recording, decoding, and replaying camera and LiDAR data. Build operator-facing dashboards and visualization tools for live camera feeds, LiDAR point clouds, vehicle state, GPS, diagnostics, and system health. Design infrastructure for collecting large-scale robotics datasets and make that data easily accessible for training, evaluation, and debugging. What We're Looking For What We're Looking For Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-quality systems. Strong Python and/or C++ skills. Experience with ROS 2 and robotic systems. Experience working with real-time or high-throughput data pipelines. Familiarity with LiDAR, cameras, point clouds, video streaming, or other robotics sensors. A person that will simply get things done. Nice to

Pay:
$160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
