Job Description
Overview:
The Software Development, Engineering & Services Architect within Northwell Health's Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence serves as a senior technical leader responsible for defining, designing, and governing the end-to-end architecture of enterprise intelligent automation solutions. The Architect partners with business stakeholders, process analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology teams to translate complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, resilient, and supportable UiPath solutions. This position provides architectural oversight throughout the automation lifecycle and establishes technical standards, reusable frameworks, integration patterns, development practices, and solution-design principles across the RPA portfolio. The role requires advanced knowledge of the UiPath Business Automation Platform, including Studio, Orchestrator, Test Suite, Document Understanding, AI Center, Action Center, Integration Service, Automation Cloud, and related enterprise automation technologies. Preferred Skills- UiPath Certified Professional - Automation Developer Professional, Solution Architect, or equivalent advanced UiPath certification.
- Healthcare IT experience or experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments involving PHI, PII, security, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced experience with UiPath Orchestrator, Test Suite, Document Understanding, AI Center, Action Center, Integration Service, Automation Cloud, Automation Hub, and Insights.
- Experience developing reusable UiPath libraries, custom activities, or packages using .NET.
- Experience designing API-first and integration-driven automation solutions.
- Experience with enterprise cloud environments and hybrid RPA infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of ITIL practices and enterprise incident, problem, and change-management processes.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership across distributed or vendor-supported engineering teams.
