OHI Software Developer

Job Summary The OHI Software Developer will play a key role in supporting Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) initiatives by designing, developing, and integrating technical solutions that enhance health insurance operations. The role involves building integrations using Oracle Integration Gateway (OIG), developing Groovy-based business logic, supporting data migration, and ensuring efficient system performance. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet project and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and maintain solutions using the Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) platform. Design and implement integrations between OHI and customer systems using Oracle Integration Gateway or similar integration technologies. Create and maintain Groovy scripts for custom business logic, automation, and OHI product customizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues to maintain system reliability and data integrity. Optimize integration workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Support data migration activities and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. Prepare and update technical documentation for integration workflows, solution designs, and custom configurations. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for OHI solutions and integration processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in software development roles. Proficiency in Groovy scripting for customization, automation, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Experience with integration development, data migration, and industry best practices. Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Gateway or similar integration technologies. Familiarity with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and data transformation. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) modules and functionalities. Background in the insurance or health insurance industry. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git. Experience with cloud-based integration platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders. Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies and processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
