Job Description
Overview Client is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain C software for secure processing applications. This role supports software development in a classified environment and requires hands-on embedded C/C experience, CI/CD pipeline exposure, and an active Secret security clearance. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions for business and mission applications. Develop and maintain C code for secure processing applications. Develop new applications and maintain legacy code used across other applications. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery. Apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Analyze system capabilities, program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile software development documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver prototype and fully capable systems. Ensure software solutions meet security and performance standards. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies Embedded C/C development experience. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software. Experience applying software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the development life cycle. Active Secret security clearance. Preferred Skills or Experience Bare metal programming experience. Hardware driver development experience. Experience maintaining legacy code. Experience supporting secure processing applications. Work Details Full-time onsite role in Owego, NY. Work is conducted in a classified environment. 4/10 schedule, 1st shift.
