This role sits within one of their U.S. manufacturing or engineering operations. Top 3 Skills Technical documentation development (work instructions, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, job aids) Quality management system documentation standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) Technical editing and proofreading for clarity and accuracy What You'll Do Develop and improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and job aids Partner with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations staff to gather accurate technical information Research and analyze technical information from multiple sources to build comprehensive documentation Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines Plan, schedule, and track documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards Translate complex technical processes into clear, user ready documentation What We Need From You Bachelor's degree in English, communication, technical writing, engineering, or a science field, or an associate's degree/HS diploma with significant technical writing experience 3 or more years of technical writing experience Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 documentation requirements Ability to understand and clearly document technical manufacturing processes Strong written communication skills for translating complex technical information into clear documentation Preferred / Bonus Technical writing experience in a manufacturing environment PTC Windchill system experience Optics knowledge About Elevait Elevait Solutions was founded by veterans who believe that how you treat people is the only thing that actually matters in this industry.
