Job Description Serve as Signet's highest-level architecture leader, partnering directly with the CDTO to define technology strategy and enterprise architecture direction.

Lead platform harmonization efforts across all Signet brands, driving simplification, modernization, and consolidation of technologies and applications.

Establish enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, reference architectures, and architectural decision frameworks.

Evaluate and guide major technology initiatives involving commerce, customer experience, supply chain, data, cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms.

Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, agentic AI capabilities, and modern software delivery methodologies.

Collaborate with executives across Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Finance, and Store Operations to align technology investments with business outcomes.

Mentor architects and engineering leaders while serving as the primary architectural advisor for enterprise-wide technology decisions. Skills and Requirements 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including roles such as Chief Architect, Principal Architect, VP of Engineering, CTO, or equivalent.

Proven experience leading enterprise architecture for large-scale retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel organizations with complex multi-brand environments.

Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS preferred), microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise application modernization.

Strong experience with composable/MACH architecture principles and large-scale commerce platforms.

Demonstrated success consolidating platforms, reducing technical debt, and driving technology standardization across multiple business units.

Hands-on experience creating architecture roadmaps, capability maps, system diagrams, ADRs, and target-state architectures.

Experience influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise decisions without direct reporting authority.

Strong financial acumen with experience evaluating TCO, vendor investments, and strategic technology initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, IBM Sterling, Manhattan OMS, Fluent Commerce, Oracle Xstore, or similar retail technologies.

Background with headless commerce platforms, AEM, Contentful, Contentstack, and modern digital experience platforms.

Experience implementing Customer Data Platforms (Adobe CDP, Amperity, Salesforce Data Cloud) and personalization solutions.

Expertise in AI-assisted software development, agentic AI architectures, AI governance, and enterprise AI adoption.

Experience integrating acquisitions and harmonizing technology platforms across multiple brands.

Knowledge of blockchain, supply chain traceability, diamond provenance, or large-scale third-party API ecosystems.
