Job Title:
Unity Developer We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Unity Developer to join our team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Unity-based games and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game development and be proficient in C# programming language.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create engaging gameplay experiences
  • Optimize code and assets for performance on various platforms
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools, technologies, and best practices in game development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Unity game development
  • Proficient in C# programming language
  • Strong understanding of game design principles and user experience
  • Experience working with 3D graphics, animations, and physics in Unity
  • Familiarity with mobile platform-specific considerations (iOS/Android)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with multiplayer/networked games using Photon or similar framework
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as JavaScript or Java
  • Passion for gaming and familiarity with different game genres
Salary:
$1500 per month (part-time)
