Summary QxSoft, LLC develops Windows application software for 3D inspection and geometrical analysis deployed worldwide in automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. To further strengthen the engineering team in our Lewis Center, OH office, we are looking for a Software Engineer. You will be part of a self-organizing agile team of developers and testers. Together with the team, you will be committed to delivering projects on time and within scope and budget, and to producing well-documented and maintainable code. Responsibilities Deliver projects on time and within scope and budget Develop and test software components that are well-structured, well-defined, and maintainable. Write clear and precise design documentation and specifications Debug application software and its interaction with a variety of measurement device hardware. Contribute as a member of a self-organizing development team that collectively plans work, and continuously improves its processes and tools Maintain and further develop the skills needed as a software engineering professional in this specific domain

Qualifications Essential :

Strong background in mathematics Strong debugging and analytical skills Extensive experience in object-oriented software design and development using C++/C# or similar programming languages Knowledge of MFC, STL, COM, UML, Design Patterns Familiar with version control system, i.e.

SVN, GIT

Familiar with Agile Methodology and associated tools - i.e. JIRA Excellent verbal/written communication and cross-group collaboration skills An ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

Desirable :

Knowledge of computational geometry (OpenGL and 3D graphics programming experiences) Knowledge of Machine Vision (OpenCV and computer vision programming experiences) Knowledge of solid modeling software and MBD (Model-Based Definition) EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields Minimum of 2 years of experience in application software development in C++/C# on Windows using Visual Studio Experience in developing hardware interfaces is a plus
