Job Description

Company Description:

Crown produces and sells a broad range of forklifts, batteries, chargers, automation and fleet management technologies that are revolutionizing the material-handling industry. Job Posting External Job Responsibilities Plan, execute, and report on product configuration activities for Product Development (PD) projects. Communicate between project teams and resources to support product configuration tasks. Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and improve throughput. This position reports to a Manager in Program Management. Configurator & Bill of Material (BOM)
Development:
Create and update product sales configurators and BOMs. Coordinate engineering release (ER) documentation.
Project Collaboration:
Partner with project leaders to understand scope, define configuration work, and support planning, schedules, and resource needs.
Resource Development:
Train and support team members executing configurator and BOM updates. Promote standardized best practices.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement enhancements to product configuration processes and supporting systems. Coordinate cross-functional solutions.
Release Management:
Oversee testing and release of configurator models. Communicate timelines, risks, and readiness for production builds.

Perform additional tasks as assigned. Visit YouTube to learn more about Crown Equipment - Defining the Future of Material Handling Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent 2+ years of product development engineering experience Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience with SAP or a similar product data management system Ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships Willingness to travel occasionally (0-5%) Ability to perform standard office-based work Preferred Qualification Familiarity with Crown's product line
