Job Description:
Description A DevOps Engineering Support who is responsible for supplementing the DevOps team working to accelerate delivery speed and improve system reliability. They will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and monitor system performance to ensure seamless deployment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or appropriate comparable discipline or 3 + years DevOps experience.
  • Has proficient background in CICD Process & Methods.

DevOps Tools:
GitHub, Docker Containers, AWS, Jenkins, CICD Pipeline development (yaml, groovy).
  • Has proficient experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Bash
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, Terraform, Ansible), and writing automation scripts.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
  • Has basic project management skills and is able to determine a project timeline.
  • Has developed organizational skills to prioritize workload and accomplish tasks to defined project timeline.
  • Ability to follow up effectively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Can generate creative solutions to problems and is open to trying different and novel approaches.
  • Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships. Works in teams to reach project goals in desired format.
  • Pays attention to detail and sets high personal goals or standards of performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Linux-based development environments and build tooling
  • Android application development experience using Gradle build systems
  • Familiarity with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development environment
  • Experience using Gerrit for source control and code review workflows
  • Familiarity with embedded or hardware-integrated software builds
  • Experience writing and maintaining build automation scripts, including Makefiles Responsibilities include: Basic roles:
  • CI/CD Implementation:
    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and code deployment.
  • Infrastructure Automation:
    Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, AWS CDK, Terraform.
  • Cloud & Scaling:
    Deploy and optimize scalable applications on public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Monitoring & Security:
    Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; integrate security practices (DevSecOps).
  • Troubleshooting:
    Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis of system errors.
  • Understand requirements for project ideas and determine the feasibility and help come up with a solution if one doesn't already exists in the CICD process.
  • Create and maintain documentation for CICD process and tools Linux
  • Maintain existing infrastructure and running code services.
  • Docker Containers (Writing of start-up scripts, Creation and maintenance of Docker Images on DockerHub and AWS, Connecting to services (GitHub, Gerrit, Jenkins, AWS)
  • Operate Linux/Redhat fundamentals (filesystem, volumes, services, users, permissions, etc)
  • Manage Users, Groups, Security, Plugins, Updates, Server (containers) connections. Jenkins Configurations, Jenkins Server admin, working with enterprise IT to complete tasks.
  • Manage IaC files and Configuration, Plugins, User database, working with enterprise IT on your requirements and needs.
  • Keep container environment up to date, and source controlled.
  • Keep all running services up and keep connections to Jenkins working.
AWS Cloud Support:
  • Support developers for automating, deploying manage and scale infrastructure on AWS.
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Building and maintaining automated pipelines to deliver code, using tools like AWS CodePipeline(GitHub Actions), CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. As well as storage of artifacts (S3), and deployment of build artifacts to other services (EC2, Lambda, Amplify, etc)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provisioning and managing infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation via GitHub Actions for consistent, repeatable deployments.
Monitoring & Alerting:
Implementing proactive monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch and AWS XRay to track application performance, security, and uptime.
    Security and Compliance:
    Ensuring infrastructure meets security standards(PRISMA) and managing access, secrets, and compliance frameworks.
