$61.58•62.00/hr. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a high-impact contract opportunity focused on UX innovation, cloud-based applications, and advanced software development. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys coding, prototyping, and building scalable applications that improve user experience and product performance. The primary focus of this role is heads-down software development, collaborating with lead engineers to create prototypes, proof-of-concept solutions, and production-ready applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and support cloud-connected software applications
Build intuitive, high-performance user experience (UX) solutions
Develop front-end and back-end functionality across full-stack environments
Write and maintain clean, scalable code using Python, C++, Java, and related technologies
Support prototyping, proof-of-value, and proof-of-concept initiatives
Collaborate within Agile development teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
Integrate applications with AWS cloud services and modern development tools
Ensure secure software design following cybersecurity best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with Python and C++
Full-stack development experience with GUI application development
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Experience with React or Kotlin (Android)
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools
