Job Functions:
Define and maintain architectural standards and development best practices for enterprise applications Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures supporting both on-premises and cloud-based solutions Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs Review and guide application designs to ensure alignment with architectural standards, security practices, and scalability requirements Lead architectural decisions related to system integrations, data flows, and API strategy across enterprise platforms Promote and implement modern engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps integration Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar technologies) to enhance development efficiency and code quality Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve application performance, reliability, and development productivity Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues and performance challenges Mentor and coach developers to strengthen technical capability and promote adherence to architecture standards Participate in Agile development practices and provide technical leadership during planning, design, and implementation phasesEducation and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development and application architecture Demonstrated experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications Experience leading architectural decisions within modern development environments Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices preferred Experience working within Agile development frameworksSkills and Physical Demands:
Advanced proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL Expertise in software architecture patterns and design frameworks (e.g., MVC, MVVM, microservices) Strong understanding of RESTful API design and service-based architectures Experience designing enterprise application integrations and distributed systems Deep understanding of relational database design and data architecture Experience with version control platforms such as Git Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with .NET Core and modern application frameworks Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or TypeScript preferred Experience utilizing AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Tabnine, or similar) Strong architectural and systems-thinking capability Ability to influence technical decisions across teams and stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to mentor and develop technical talent Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams Commitment to continuous improvement and emerging technology adoption Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use Occasional bending and stooping Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment Requires normal range of vision and hearing Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipOur Culture:
