Analyze existing systems and workflows, identify gaps, and develop technical enhancement plans to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and environment provisioning across datacenter and cloud platforms. Develop and refine server-side documentation, technical specifications, and system architecture artifacts to support development and operational processes. Plan, script, and automate application build, test, and deployment activities using engineering principles, modern DevOps tooling, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Review, optimize, and rewrite scripts and automation frameworks to support evolving system requirements and increase operational efficiency. Install, configure, and manage monitoring and logging solutions to track system health, capture diagnostics, and support incident resolution and performance optimization. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including offshore engineering groups, enterprise architects, product teams, and build engineers to ensure aligned delivery. Conduct continuous testing and validation throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and security standards. Translate project requirements into detailed technical instructions, logical workflows, and implementation steps, enabling accurate system configuration and deployment. Serve as a technical advisor to development and architecture teams, providing expert guidance on infrastructure management, automation strategies, and best practices for source control, CI/CD, and cloud operations.
Position requires:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in an engineering program that includes computer programming, data structures, and production technology PLUS five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience as a software developer or a related role.
Experience must include:
Five (5) years in Azure, DevOps, AWS Cloud, RDS (Aurora, Postgres, or other), Jenkins (CI/CD tool), Shell Scripting, MySql, VS, ASP .Net, Puppet, Ansible, Python, Kubernetes. All required experience may have been gained concurrently. May require domestic travel up to 10% of time. Job may be performed remotely up to two days per week.
