Job Description

Sciotex is seeking a skilled Machine Vision Applications Engineer who enjoys developing software and hardware solutions that improve operations in the industrial and scientific industries. Our engineers and scientists design, develop, and support electronic, mechanical and robotic machine vision systems. We serve top industrial companies and scientific research institutions with custom systems and software. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & qualifications: Advanced Degree in Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a PhD strongly preferred. Multi-platform software development experience with Python and C, LabVIEW, Matlab, computer vision libraries and AI platforms. Strong analytical and design skills and the ability to quickly adapt to, and learn, new technologies in a rapidly evolving domain. Excellent writing and communication skills as this position may interact with clients requiring project documentation and white papers. Strong organization with respect to software architecture, project timelines and documentation. Comfort working alongside a high-talent team in a small, innovative and flexible environment.
