Job Description

Engineer 3, Software Development & Engineering West Chester, PA 6 DAYS AGO 22626848 Summary West Chester, PA Hybrid Competitive Salary 2 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Contribute to a team responsible for developing data platforms software on Unix operating system, using SQL Server and Oracle databases; develop reports using Tableau; perform data ingesting and processing using Informatica; work with large datasets of at least 10 TB (terabytes); develop large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata; manage the storage and processing of data using cloud technologies including Hadoop and Spark; provide a path to customer support for all Big Data systems by identifying opportunities to integrate, automate and optimize various aspect of data and reliability engineering areas; build interactive data visualization dashboards with existing and newly developed KPI/Metrics; create seamless integrations across various platforms, including Service Now, Jira, and MS Teams; monitor end user support and facilitate communication across work streams to measure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution; establish observability to measure metrics, traces, and logs; create observability dashboard and service level objectives (SLOs) in order to proactively avoid incidents in the environment; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; and conduct analysis to determine integration needs. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy. •
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing data pipeline software on Unix operating system, using SQL Server and Oracle databases; developing reports using Tableau; performing data ingesting and processing using Informatica; working with large datasets of at least 10 TB (terabytes); of which one (1) year includes developing large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata; and managing the storage and processing of data using cloud technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
