Responsibilities Assist with application conversion projects , supporting multiple phases of an enterprise app modernization initiative through user story-driven development. Support and enhance existing web‑based applications , contributing to ongoing maintenance and incremental improvements. Develop and test data‑driven web solutions using established internal frameworks and development standards. Work closely with the development team to implement assigned user stories , bug fixes, and technical tasks. Participate in project estimation, planning, and scheduling discussions to gain exposure to real‑world software delivery practices. Collaborate with team members through code reviews, design discussions, and daily development activities . Develop and maintain technical documentation to support application functionality, changes, and future enhancements. Learn internal development standards, tooling, and best practices while applying them consistently. Gain hands‑on experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an enterprise environment. Qualifications Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology , or a related technical field. Foundational knowledge of object‑oriented programming and web application development concepts.
Experience or coursework involving:
C#
ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC SQL
Server and T‑SQL Familiarity with front‑end web technologies: JavaScript
HTML5 CSS
(including frameworks such as Bootstrap) Ability to work effectively in a team-based development environment . Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow coding standards, document work, and accept feedback.
Nice to Have Exposure to:
Visual Studio Git-based source control (TFS/Azure DevOps or similar) Web Services (Web
API, WCF
) Crystal Reports CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS) Academic or personal projects involving web applications or system conversions. Interest in application modernization, refactoring, or enterprise-scale development.
