Job Summary:
Assisting with creating, developing & documenting engine and component designs. Assuring technical work is done according to defined processes and that work products conform to established standards. Also responsible for supporting legacy products, acting as technical resource for cross-functional departments such as Procurement, Operations, and Quality. There will be opportunity to provide engineering support to experimental engine testing and production parts manufacturing and engine assembly. Responsibilities may
Include :
Perform a variety of engineering assignments related to new product development and/or enhancement of existing products Creation and maintenance of engine bill of materials (BOM) Review engineering changes / revisions to both engineering procedures and drawings Create and execute engineering change orders (ECOs) using PLM software Consult with customers on designs and specifications Assist ODA group with FAA certification effort Coordinate activities with Director, Configuration Management and Regulations to ensure business and development goals will be achieved May be required to interface with suppliers
Qualifications Education:
Actively pursuing BS in
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Beneficial Experience:
Knowledge of
ASME Y14.5 GD&T
drafting standards BOM creation / maintenance using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
