• typically 3 days onsite Our client, one of Western New York's most respected and stable employers, is seeking an experienced Application Architect to help drive enterprise modernization initiatives across critical business systems.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll define application strategy, guide modernization efforts, and influence long-term technology decisions across the organization. What You'll Do Lead enterprise application and integration architecture across multiple business domains Define current-state and future-state application architectures Drive platform modernization, system integration, and application rationalization initiatives Establish architecture standards, patterns, and best practices Partner with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and vendors on strategic initiatives Provide architectural oversight for implementations, integrations, and data migrations Evaluate enterprise platforms and recommend retain/retire/replace/modernize strategies What You Bring Required Qualifications 7+ years of full-stack development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities 5+ years of application architecture or solution architecture experience Experience leading complex enterprise implementations and integrations Strong knowledge of enterprise application ecosystems, including ERP, HRIS, billing/CIS, and integration platforms Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise transformations, consolidations, or merger/acquisition integrations Background in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or financial services Experience with cloud and hybrid enterprise environments Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders Why This Role Strategic architecture role with enterprise-wide impact Opportunity to shape long-term technology direction Stable, well-funded organization with a strong reputation Collaborative environment with executive visibility Complex, large-scale enterprise technology landscape Apply through ComputerPeople Staffing for additional insight into the role, team, and interview process, plus personalized support throughout the hiring process.
