Application Developer - Senior Danville, PA 5 DAYS AGO 22604442 Summary Danville, PA Remote Competitive Salary 6 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Provide key insight in design and application architecture discussions. Responsible for the process, life cycle, and creation of software to assist users in completing a computer task or program using Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Implement code and document all system changes based on assignments and timelines. Develop and follow department coding and user interface guidelines. Provide code review, testing, debugging, technical documentation, general testing instructions, go-live planning, assistance in go-live moves, and post-live support using application testing. Use SQL programming to deliver quality datasets. Communicate progress, roadblocks, and issues to the team and management in a timely manner. Provide training and documentation to team members on new development assignments and use Agile planning and Scrum to collaborate within the team. Position allows for 100% remote work.
REQ:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field plus six (6) years of experience with application testing; developing SQL databases and servers; using PowerCenter and Dynamic SQL; and using object oriented programming (OOP), Agile planning, and Scrum.
