Application Programmer#26-04988 Charlotte, NC Plano, TX 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/01/2026 Ends 5/31/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an ETL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning to support large-scale AML monitoring. This position involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs, working closely with business partners to define requirements in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Developplex requirements, enhance, modify, and maintain applications to meet business goals Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, and support application maintenance activities Work closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications Provide insight and direction from a data perspective and assess the impact on technology systems Contribute to story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work for the delivery lifecycle Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Handle technical aspects of the application, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades Work with a team of Data Analysts and Developers to ensure best practices and governance are followed Analyze present-state, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation

Requirements:

Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experience BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline Experience in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, Informatica 10.x, UNIX Shell scripting, and Autosys Experience with Cloudera CDP, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala), and Data analysis Strong data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning skills to support large scale AML data assets Experience with database intensive development, data migrations, and SQL performance tuning Experience with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible) Good knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts Effectivemunication and listening skills Desired skills: Business knowledge in financial domains related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crimes Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
