Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a C#/.NET Software Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ, Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining regulatory reporting applications within the Finance Technology division. The software engineer will work closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications and is expected to be a content expert with a proven track record of in-depth, hands-on software development.

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, modify and/or maintain regulatory reporting applications for Enterprise Stress Testing Technology

Design, code, test, debug, support and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture

Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications

Requirements:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience working with C# .NET development
• A minimum of three (3) years experience working with ASP.Net in recent jobs
• A minimum of four (4) years experience building Web Applications using CSS, HTML, ASP.Net and Visual Studio
• Experience with SQL Server 2014 or above
• Experience with Tableau or MicroStrategy
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to aplish tasks in a timely manner with a minimum degree of supervision
• Must have strongmunication and problem solving skills

Desired skills:

Experience using REST Web Services and JSON

SCRUM Agile environment experience

Experience working in a highly regulated and change-controlled environment

Intermediate knowledge and skill set with database design, development and implementation

Intermediate knowledge and skill set with Blazor web design, development and implementation

Intermediate knowledge and skill set with unit test frameworks like Selenium or xUnit

Pay range: $55.07 - $63.07 per hour
