Job Description

NexThreat is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Programmer to join our team and serve as a Sustainment Lead or Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME) on critical programs and project operations. In this expert-level role, you will bring deep knowledge of the sustainment life cycle management and translate detailed design specifications into reliable, efficient computer software across functional areas including finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. From analyzing business applications and developing logic flowcharts to designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex software, you will own the full software development lifecycle while enhancing existing platforms to reduce operating time and improve performance. You will also provide technical direction to fellow programmers to ensure program deadlines are met and craft comprehensive program- and user-level documentation. The ideal candidate is well-versed in low-code/no-code development platforms, business process modeling notation (BPMN), agile and hybrid development methodologies, and large-scale DBMS, with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex problems while considering system capacity, operating time, and desired outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience. Expert experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/NoCode Development Platform models. Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools. Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models. Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development. Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
