Hybrid:

Remote work permitted 2 days/week) (multiple positions). Design, develop, and maintain critical backend services for international brokerage firm's interest, margin, sales tax, and net revenue systems. Develop java applications that process large datasets from various systems to execute complex calculations and generate comprehensive financial reporting. Design efficient data models and optimize complex queries in Oracle database for Interest and Tax systems. Implement RESTful APIs and JBoss services that support real-time inquiries for interest-related data. Develop automation workflows using Python and shell scripts for system monitoring, API integration, and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with multiple teams to implement business requirements into scalable backend services. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design sessions.

Hybrid:

Remote work permitted 2 days/week. Must work from Greenwich, CT office 3 days/week. Requires - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, or related field and Four (4) years of experience as a Software Developer or related position developing with Java.

Also requires:

4 years of professional experience developing large-scale systems with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and JDBC. 4 years of experience working with Oracle Database, including PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and data modelling using large-scale datasets. 3 years of experience with RESTful web services; JMS and ActiveMQ; and version control system Git. 3 years of experience with Python for automation, data processing, API integration, and system administration tasks. 3 years of experience developing applications for financial services platforms that process margin and securities lending transactions and data.
