About the Role As a Configuration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming product requirements and engineering design intent into actionable product definitions. You will work closely with our Gas Turbine Configuration Management (CM) organization to ensure on-time and quality product definition delivery to our global supply chain functions. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain Engineering and Unit Bill of Materials (BOMs) and manage their integration into ERP systems throughout the project's lifecycle. Support the Inquiry to Order (ITO) team in transitioning project scope definitions in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. Collaborate with Project Engineering to ensure timely handoff of requisition scope definitions. Verify accurate generation of logical features and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the ITO CM team. Support Preliminary BOM review meetings for Steam Turbine and Generator products. Assist manufacturing and sourcing teams in addressing BOM concerns and conduct regular integrity monitoring. Execute CM responsibilities in Change Management processes and collaborate towards continuous improvement and Lean activities. Ensure compliance with Client Gas Power procedures, processes, and contractual requirements. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Experience in product definition development, BOM management, configuration management concepts, and project scheduling. Preferences Experience with PLM systems.
