This role ensures high-performing, scalable manufacturing solutions by establishing global templates, defining technical standards, guiding development teams, and guiding complex multi-site deployment programs. The individual in this role will act as a primary technical advisor working closely with business leaders, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and IT leadership across global regions (US and India). This position balances long-term architecture design, cross-system interface strategies, and high-level project execution, ensuring the Apriso MES ecosystem is robust, secure, future-proof, and tightly aligned with global operational goals.

Translate complex business strategies and manufacturing operational requirements into scalable, maintainable Apriso technical designs, architecture blueprints, and data models. Establish, govern, and maintain Global Core Templates using Apriso Global Process Manager (GPM) to ensure cross-site standardization while permitting necessary plant-level localization. Define end-to-end integration architectures connecting DELMIA Apriso with enterprise systems (ERP such as SAP/Oracle, PLM, WMS) and shop floor automation/PLC systems. Work cross-functionally with executive leadership, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and IT teams to align MES capabilities with digital transformation roadmap goals. Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to Apriso developers across US and India locations; conduct architecture reviews, design validation, and code reviews. Troubleshoot complex MES architecture, integration, database scaling, and performance bottlenecks in production and development environments. Support overall system governance, environment setup, release management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure strategy for the Apriso application suite. Identify continuous improvement opportunities in platform capabilities, development guidelines, technical documentation, design patterns, and deployment automation. Drive system validation strategies, quality assurance frameworks, and change control standards for global site rollouts. Create and maintain high-level architecture documentation, integration specifications, interface catalogs, and technical governance guidelines. Collaborate with software vendors (Dassault Systèmes), system integrators, and internal leadership to evaluate platform upgrades and incorporate smart manufacturing innovations. Ensure all technical architectures conform to enterprise IT standards, safety, quality, data privacy, and industry regulatory requirements.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred; or equivalent work experience. 8-12+ years of overall IT/Manufacturing systems experience, with a minimum of 5+ years spent in technical architecture, blueprinting, and solution design specifically on the DELMIA Apriso platform. Mastery of DELMIA Apriso core tools and architecture modules, including Global Process Manager (GPM), Process Builder, Business Integrator (MPI/GPM), Machine Integrator, and Screen Flows. Extensive expertise in designing enterprise integrations between Apriso MES and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) using standard web services, middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, and messaging queues. Strong proficiency in object-oriented development principles (C# / .NET or Java) and relational database architecture (SQL Server / Oracle database design, tuning, and optimization). Proven track record of architecture leadership in multi-site, global MES rollouts and deployment governance. Deep familiarity with industrial automation interfaces, OPC protocols, and machine/equipment integration models. Outstanding analytical, strategic thinking, and system troubleshooting abilities. Excellent executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading global technical teams across diverse time zones. Desired Skills Official Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Apriso Solution Architect or Developer Certification. Experience with Cloud deployments, containerization, or 3DEXPERIENCE platform integrations. Hands-on familiarity with manufacturing analytics platforms, DELMIA Apriso Intelligence, or enterprise reporting architectures. Deep domain knowledge in regulated manufacturing domains (e.g., Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment, or Life Sciences). In-depth understanding of enterprise change governance, GxP/validation frameworks (where applicable), and DevOps methodologies for MES release pipelines.
