Job Description An Insight Global customer is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer on a contract to hire for their growing Next Gen team. The ideal candidate is someone looking for an opportunity to work with cloud technology and apply their experience to high priority upgrade projects related to store upgrades supporting the developers working alongside them. The day to day for this role will include on-prem and remote work. This person will be joining a team of other experienced DevOps Engineers and will have the opportunity to learn tools and traits along the way. There is an on call rotation for this role. Regular work schedule is mainly M-F 8am-5pm, onsite M-Th at the customer HQ in Ann Arbor, MI, remote Friday.

Compensation Range:

$55/hr to $65/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. •  Scripting experience: ideally with Bash or PowerShell
•  Strong experience with Kubernetes
•  Strong experience of CI/CD Pipeline processes and projects
•  Strong experience with docker container
•  Strong work ethic and known for being an effective teammate and communicator
•  Azure experience
•  Bitbucket and GitHub experience
•  Helm Chart experience (repeatable deployment process)
•  Experience doing onsite hardware upgrades
•  Bachelor's degree in related field
•  3+ years of administrative experience with Linux
•  TKGI experience
•  Migration from bitbucket to GitHub
