: Albany, NY -Hybrid Summary:
The position will support the development of a cloud analytics environment within Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES). The environment will bring together multiple large DOH sources that must be joined and made available to meet Department use cases, including support of the AHEAD model. The Software Architect will support data ingestion, cleaning and analysis of information. Qualifications Software Architect- Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Expert- 84+Months:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months experience in Designing and implementing scalable cloud-based web applications using AWS. 84 months experience with analysis of complex business rules, workflow processes, and re-engineering business processes. 84 months experience with data processing and analysis using Python on Linux platform. 72 months experience writing transformations with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar ETL tool. 72 months experience with relational and NoSQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows). 72 months experience authoring a complete set of technical documentation Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited institution. Day-to-Day tasks Work with DOH teams to modernize data cleaning and transformation processes using version control and collaborative repositories. Design, build and maintain data ingestion pipelines in the Cloud Partner with manager to make critical decisions about technology infrastructure and components. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in all DE projects. Build automated tests and validation processes. Guide development teams, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction throughout product life cycle. Create high-level specifications and design documents for the team to follow.
