Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Application Development Design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications using Microsoft .
NET, ASP.NET, MVC
architecture, and C#. Apply object-oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices to build maintainable, scalable, and secure applications. Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML, and related web technologies. Participate in the technical implementation of applications and systems that automate complex business processes. Analyze existing application architecture and data models to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and enhanced performance. Develop and maintain application components, integrations, and reusable software utilities. Database Development and Data Management Develop, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database components, including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, and views. Interpret existing data models and implement complex joins, grouping, sorting, and data retrieval logic. Perform data manipulation, reporting, reconciliation, and validation using SQL queries. Support database deployment, configuration, and integration with multi-tier web applications. Troubleshoot database-related issues and optimize query performance, data integrity, and application reliability. Test Automation and Quality Assurance Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, reusable test-step libraries, and testing utilities for unit, system, integration, functional, and regression testing. Convert manual test cases, business requirements, and functional specifications into automated test scripts. Develop automation tools and reusable testing components to improve testing efficiency and organization-wide test coverage. Use Java, Python, Shell Scripting, or other suitable automation languages to develop and maintain test automation solutions. Support automated regression testing and parallel testing initiatives to reduce regression testing cycles and improve software quality. Analyze test execution results, identify defects and anomalies, refine test data, and update test scripts and cases as required. Prepare, configure, and reset test harnesses, testing tools, environments, datasets, and test cases for different testing scenarios. Perform system, functional, performance, stress, load, and integration testing as required. Requirements Analysis and Test Documentation Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into test requirements, test scenarios, and detailed test cases. Apply requirements elicitation methodologies to document business use cases, business rules, functional requirements, and nonfunctional requirements. Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test strategies, test specifications, testing platform architecture, and test configurations. Document test results, defects, test coverage, and recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and validated. Defect Management and Agile Collaboration Use defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, or JAMA to record, track, prioritize, and resolve software defects. Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, technical discussions, reviews, and team coordination. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software within established timelines and project requirements. Communicate technical findings, testing outcomes, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement in software development, testing processes, automation frameworks, and deployment practices.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience Full Stack Development:
At least eight (8) years of experience within the last ten (10) years working as a Software Developer, leading and participating in the technical implementation of software, systems, or applications that automate complex business processes. Experience must include Microsoft .
NET, ASP.NET, MVC
architecture, C# and object-oriented programming, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and developing testing utilities for unit and system integration testing.
SQL Server and Database Development:
At least eight (8) years of experience within the last ten (10) years implementing applications that automate complex business processes using Microsoft SQL Server and associated technologies. Must demonstrate experience interpreting existing application data models, writing complex SQL queries, and developing stored procedures involving complex joins, grouping, and sorting logic.
Automated Testing:
At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years implementing automated testing within large organizations. Experience must include converting manual test cases and business requirements into automated tests, creating reusable test-step libraries, developing tools to accelerate organization-wide test automation, supporting automated regression testing, using Java, Python, Shell Scripting, or another automation language, reducing regression testing windows, and improving test coverage.
Test Environment and Harness Management:
At least five (5) years of experience preparing, configuring, and resetting software testing harnesses, including testing tools, environments, test datasets, and test cases for system, functional, performance, and regression testing.
Testing Documentation:
At least five (5) years of experience producing testing documentation, including testing requirements, testing platform architecture, test plans and strategies, test specifications, and test configurations for integration, system, regression, stress, and load testing.
SQL-Based Data Validation:
At least three (3) years of experience performing data manipulation, reporting, and data validation activities using SQL queries.
Defect Tracking Tools:
At least five (5) years of experience using industry-leading defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, or JAMA.
Requirements and Test Case Analysis:
At least five (5) years of experience analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements and translating them into test requirements and test cases.
Test Execution and Defect Analysis:
At least five (5) years of experience analyzing test results, generating test scripts, identifying defects or anomalies, and refining test data or test cases.
Requirements Elicitation:
At least three (3) years of experience applying requirements elicitation methodologies and documenting business use cases, business rules, functional requirements, and nonfunctional requirements. Desirable Qualifications Excellent oral communication, analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, and views. At least two (2) years of experience performing parallel testing and automated testing. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional technical teams. Knowledge of database administration activities, including deployment and configuration of multi-tier web applications using Microsoft SQL Server as the backend. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field from a government-accredited or sanctioned institution.
