Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation:
$81.00 - $95.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This is a Software Engineering position within the client's merchandising domain on a team that manages Vendor Funds, a function that supports financial systems. The team ismitted to agile engineering practices, code simplicity, and consistent high quality. The project involves supporting and maintaining an existing collection of legacy systems while also replacing those systems with distributed, scalable, custom applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to all aspects of software development and delivery
Support and maintain existing legacy systems which provide mission-critical value to thepany
Develop distributed, scalable, custom applications to replace legacy systems
Build and maintain the new systems in a collaborative, flexible, and durable team
Primary Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software development
Fluent in a JVM based language (Java, Groovy, etc)
Fluent in Test Driven Development
Strong willingness to pair program
Desired Skills:
Service development (REST, HTTP, JSON)
Spring Framework
Data stores (Postgres, Oracle)
