Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote#26-09092 Richfield, MN Remote Contract Starts 9/01/2026 Ends 9/01/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a contract position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is fully remote.

Compensation:

$81.00 - $95.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This is a Software Engineering position within our client's merchandising domain on a team that manages Vendor Funds, supporting their financial systems. The team is currently replacing a collection of legacy systems with distributed, scalable, custom applications. This is a full-stack developer role with some leadership experience, primarily focused on the backend but with frontend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to all aspects of software development and delivery Support and maintain existing mission-critical legacy systems Design and build distributed, scalable, custom applications to replace legacy systems Practice agile engineering, code simplicity, and maintain consistent high quality Collaborate with the team to build and maintain new systems

Primary Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role Fluent in a JVM based language (Java, Groovy, etc) Fluent in Test Driven Development Strong willingness to pair program

Desired Skills:
