Java Architect

We are seeking a senior-level Java Architect to lead the design and development of mission-critical, enterprise-level systems. This is a high-impact role requiring a "working architect" who can balance high-level system design with hands-on full-stack development and security implementation.

Dimondale, MI (Must live within 2 hours)

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid (Onsite 2 5 days per week)

Core Requirements Java Mastery:

12+ years of professional software development with a focus on enterprise Java.

Architectural Leadership:

5+ years designing large-scale, distributed, high-availability systems.

Modern Infrastructure:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Microservices , Docker , and Kubernetes/OpenShift .

Security Expert:

Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and JWT for secure identity management.

Full-Stack Capability:

Strong proficiency in Spring Boot (Backend) and Angular or React (Frontend).

Data & Integration:

Expertise in REST APIs, Oracle, NoSQL, and message queuing (IBM MQ).

DevOps & Testing:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated testing (Selenium/Playwright). What You Will Do Design and maintain scalable full-stack applications. Lead the transition from legacy systems to modern, containerized microservices. Collaborate with product owners to translate complex business needs into technical solutions. Actively contribute to DevOps practices and mentor team members.
