division is currently seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer. This is a Full Time role working Monday-Friday, Daylight hours. This role is Hybrid (2 days from home) and can be based out of our Monn Township, PA or Peachtree City, GA location. The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000 - $154000 a year. What you'll do: Eaton's Energy Transition organization is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance development efficiency and software delivery across a portfolio of connected energy products. This role will work with firmware, software, and quality engineering teams to develop automation, CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and developer platforms that improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and support the long-term sustainment and evolution of our products. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, developer productivity, CI/CD technologies, and creating highly efficient engineering workflows that enable teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality products. What You'll Do- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting firmware, embedded software, backend services, and engineering tools.
- Develop automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve engineering efficiency.
- Build and maintain engineering infrastructure, development platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions supporting development, testing, and release operations.
- Enhance developer experience through self-service tools, automation frameworks, and platform improvements.
- Support release management, artifact management, deployment automation, and environment management.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational excellence practices across development and production systems.
- Design and maintain development, build, and release processes that support cybersecurity, regulatory, and product compliance requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support automated test execution environments and integration with quality engineering processes.
- Drive adoption of DevOps and DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, and automation challenges.
- Partner with firmware, software, and quality engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, security, and engineering productivity.
