As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in eliciting requirements, collaborate with architects and technical leads to drive technology solutions, and serve as a technical liaison for commerce-web team. Additionally, you will serve a key role in mentoring and developing the engineering team.

Your Impact:

Participate in cross-functional project teams to perform expert level development, debugging and technical support for technical solutions within the product portfolio along with facilitating and conducting technical knowledge transfers and code reviews Gather and document business requirements for new functionality and application enhancements Lead and coordinate technical design for complex technology solutions under limited guidance Monitor Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) workloads to identify potential bottlenecks, infrastructure, or performance concerns. Collaborate with architects and technical leads on technology strategy Partner with business analysts and product owners to align requirements, remove roadblocks, and ensure goals are met Complete project management activities, including development of project plans, monitoring project performance, and building implementation plans Coach, guide, and mentor software engineers with complex technical tasks Work with business systems analysts, product owners, business areas, and technical experts to implement secure and compliant technical solutions Serve as the technical liaison to the business areas and other technical teams in all aspects of the application, including after-hours support on an as needed basis #LI-JB1 Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience 7+ years of IT experience delivering enterprise applications (design, development, and end-to-end delivery), with a proven track record leading complex, cross-team initiatives 5+ years of expert-level proficiency in .NET and C# (including .NET 8+), with deep experience in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC, and a strong grounding in

OOP, SOLID

principles, and design patterns. 5+ years of experience with SQL, database design, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable across data stores such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Azure Cosmos DB 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies, preferably AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services). 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Blazor) integrated with backend APIs Additional Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile/Scrum environments collaborating closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement Experience in AKS monitoring tools and processes to ensure health, performance, and scalability of containers applications. Experience using logging and diagnostic tools in Azure to discover, diagnose, and solve problems. Experience building highly scalable systems and performance tuning them. Regular use of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture for enterprise-scale solutions Additional Preferred Qualifications Frequency of Pay Monthly Minimum Base Pay 10,195 Maximum Base Pay 15,290 Potential Annual Pay with Bonus 132,535 - 198,770 Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
