Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Node.js Engineer with a strong software engineering background and hands-on experience building, supporting, and scaling high-performance, highly available applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, full-stack software engineering, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, TDD, and production troubleshooting. This role requires an engineer who can remain hands-on while contributing to technical design, development, and engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js applications and backend services. Build and support high-performance and highly available applications. Work across backend and frontend development as needed. Develop and integrate APIs and distributed application components. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases. Build and maintain Docker-based applications and CI/CD pipelines. Work with Jenkins and automated build/deployment processes. Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and strong software engineering practices. Participate in Agile development and new product/platform initiatives. Contribute to technical design, code quality, and engineering standards. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, integrate, and scale applications. Required Skills Strong Node.js experience Strong software engineering/development background Experience building high-performance, highly available applications Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience Hands-on Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD experience Production troubleshooting and support experience Strong TDD / software engineering practices Ability to work across backend and frontend development Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills React GraphQL DSQL Additional programming languages such as Java, C#, Go, or Python DevOps / build engineering experience Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a Senior/Lead Node.js Engineer or Senior/Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer who remains hands-on with development and can contribute to technical decisions, engineering practices, and application scalability.
