U.S. based role only •This is a hybrid role requiring two days in the office a week in our Columbus, OH, Plano, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Portsmouth, NH and Boston, MA locations•Job summary: Join Liberty Mutual's Service Technology organization as an Engineering Manager leading teams that are redefining how work gets done across the service organization. In this role, you'll manage engineering teams focused on automation and robotic process automation while helping drive the next wave of AI-enabled transformation. You'll partner with product, operations, and technology leaders to reimagine existing processes, reduce manual effort, improve quality, and create smarter, faster, more intuitive experiences for our employees and customers. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone energized by emerging technology, operational excellence, and building teams that turn bold ideas into practical solutions. You'll help shape how automation and AI are used responsibly and creatively to modernize service capabilities, unlock efficiency, and deliver meaningful business value across Liberty Mutual. Qualifications Knowledge of technology concepts, strategies and methodologies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s or Master`s Degree in technical or business discipline and a minimum of five years' experience in a practice relevant domain including delivering software solutions in an agile environment. 3 years in a leadership role preferred. Able to manage complex technology development concepts, capabilities and maturity. Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative, communication, presentation and management skills, strong judgment and ability to effectively liaise with cross functional stakeholders and optimize teams. Demonstrated ability to operate collaboratively and build consensus. In-depth knowledge of technology standards and guidelines; knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques; thorough knowledge of business functions and operations, objectives and strategies.
