About the Role Tech85 is a small, steady, low-drama company looking for our next long-term team member. Looking for a person to start as a contractor during a trial period, move to part-timer and then full time. We build tools and integrations used by manufacturers and distributors, and we're looking for someone who's comfortable working across the entire stack - C#, .NET, SQL, and modern front-end frameworks. We are now looking for a someone that also has worked and is fluent in VFP. If you like solving real problems without corporate nonsense, you'll fit in here. What You'll Do Build and maintain .NET backend services and APIs. Work on front-end features using React, Angular, or Blazor. Transition old code from VFP to our newer technologies. Design and improve SQL Server databases and queries. Integrate with third-party APIs, ERPs, and EDI systems. Turn business needs into working, practical solutions. Help improve our platforms as we continue to grow. Jump in and fix issues when something breaks—without drama. What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional .NET development experience. Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and REST APIs. Solid SQL experience. Solid VFP experience. Familiar with modern dev workflows. Able to work independently and communicate clearly. Someone who wants to join a small team and stick around. Nice-to-Haves Experience with EDI workflows or manufacturing systems. ERP or inventory system integrations.
