AI Forward Developer Overview We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with business teams, customers, and engineering groups to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions in real-world environments. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI, product thinking, and customer problem-solving. The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working in ambiguous environments, and able to translate business problems into practical AI systems that deliver measurable impact. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that improve platform functionality and user experience. Build and maintain AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows. Develop APIs and AI services using Python and FastAPI. Integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise applications and data platforms. Work with AWS services to deploy, monitor, and optimize AI solutions. Develop proof-of-concepts and quickly iterate based on stakeholder feedback. Evaluate AI solution effectiveness and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and reliable. Participate in architecture discussions and help define AI implementation patterns across platforms. Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for the business. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Strong Python development experience. Experience building APIs using FastAPI. Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs). Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience developing AI agents or agent-based workflows. Experience working with AWS cloud services. Strong understanding of API development and systems integration. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn. Nice to have Experience with LangChain and LangGraph. Experience with AWS Bedrock. Experience with vector databases and embeddings. Experience deploying AI services in cloud-native environments. Java and Spring Boot experience. Understanding of modern software architecture and microservices. Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms. Skills and Competencies Strong technical execution and rapid prototyping ability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Product mindset with a focus on practical business outcomes. Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities. Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their real-world applications. Strong ownership mindset and willingness to work close to the problem. Success Measures Success in this role will be measured by: Number and quality of AI solutions deployed into production. Business impact delivered through automation, efficiency, revenue growth, or improved decision-making. Adoption and satisfaction among end users and stakeholders. Reliability, scalability, and maintainability of deployed solutions. Ability to identify repeatable patterns and convert prototypes into reusable platforms or accelerators.
