Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
You bring the motivation, teamwork, and integrity and we will provide the collaborative culture, professional development, and opportunity to build a meaningful career at Wespath! Wespath is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to a diverse and inclusive company culture and does not discriminate against applicants and employees because of disability, sex, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or any other protected status under the law. Wespath has an opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role is responsible for how code and configuration move from source control through environments into Production, including CI/CD pipelines, source and configuration management standards, release automation, and environment promotion. This position partners with application development, infrastructure, security, quality assurance, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to modernize delivery practices, reduce manual effort, and improve the speed, safety, reliability, and auditability of deployments. More specifically, as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have the following key responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable application build, test, release, and deployment processes. Administer and govern Azure DevOps and the broader DevSecOps delivery toolchain, including repositories, branching policies, build agents, artifact repositories, service connections, and pipeline security scanning tools. Establish and maintain source code and configuration management standards as the authoritative owner of how code and configuration move between environments. Build reusable, self-service pipeline templates and paved-road standards that delivery teams can adopt within approved guardrails. Implement modern deployment patterns, including GitOps, blue/green, and progressive deployment approaches, with automated rollback and release gates where appropriate. Integrate Infrastructure as Code modules and platform services into delivery pipelines to provision and promote consistent environments. Integrate automated testing, quality gates, and security checks into delivery workflows in partnership with Quality Assurance, Security, and Platform Engineering. Apply secure delivery practices, including secrets management, least-privilege service connections, vulnerability awareness, and policy checks. Support change management and audit requirements by ensuring pipelines produce traceable evidence of approvals, testing, and deployments. Partner with Site Reliability Engineering to embed release-readiness criteria, monitoring, logging, alerting, and deployment of health validation into delivery pipelines. Use AI tools to improve efficiency and reliability within build and deployment pipelines. Identify opportunities to modernize legacy deployment processes, improve developer experience, and increase the frequency and safety of releases. Automate repeatable build, test, packaging, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across environments. Troubleshoot and resolve build, pipeline, packaging, deployment, configuration, and environment-related issues. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, standards, and reusable templates that improve delivery supportability and knowledge sharing. Support production releases outside of business hours.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
7+ years of professional technology experience, including 5+ years in DevOps, release engineering, CI/CD automation, infrastructure automation, or related delivery engineering roles. Hands-on experience integrating AI-assisted capabilities into CI/CD pipelines or DevOps workflows to improve automation, troubleshooting, deployment reliability, and operational efficiency. Strong practical knowledge of Git-based source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and release workflow practices. Ability to independently automate build, test, packaging, configuration, infrastructure, deployment, and operational support tasks. Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices and their integration into automated delivery pipelines. Experience implementing controlled environment promotion and release management practices.
