Job Description
Senior IT Developer at TD Bank, National Association, Southfield, MI (F/T)
JOB DUTIES
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications, ensuring they meet the business requirements and quality standards. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, design patterns, and development methodologies. Develop and oversee software architecture and technical specifications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of the applications. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for the development and maintenance of software applications. Test software developed in multiple environments and support QA and business through the testing lifecycle. Manage software development projects from conception through deployment, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery within budget. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and compliance with company standards. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, applying innovative solutions to improve the overall efficiency and performance of software applications. Provide solution enhancements to the applications owned. Maintain applications and provide 24/7 support making sure applications are available for customers to use and resolve any issues in time maintaining applicationsSLA. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as Software Engineer, Project Manager, or related IT position. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Programming languages including Java, Angular, or equivalent; Front-end and back-end development technologies; Database management systems including SQL Server and MySQL; Version control including GIT; Software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum; Provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications / systems; and, Leading software development projects for business/finance applications, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Telecommuting may be permitted within commuting distance pursuant to company policy.SALARY:
