About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Metering Project Engineer- E&C on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will oversee metering systems for renewable development, design, and construction. You will ensure all metering activities meet project requirements and align with commercial agreements. The role spans from concept development through construction and commissioning. You will work with engineering, development, business management, transmission services, and other external team members. In lieu of metering-specific experience, the client will consider candidates with AI background. Working with AI systems, tools, developing AI agents Some IT & AI knowledge with an engineering background and degree.

Location:

Remote will be considered- Juno or central FL. Travel requirements is approx. 10%

Key Responsibilities:

Provides engineering, design, and development support Tracks and reports on project contractual execution and design progress Delivers company standards, policies, and support of organization Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings Formulates research, and develops improvement measures Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's - Engineering

Experience:

3+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience, and Project Management Typical metering experience includes an ability to read protection & control drawings, understanding of instrument transformers including type, accuracy, & burden (CT, PTs, CVTs), Familiarity with a variety of metering technologies with a focus on Schneider Electric

meters, understanding of meter to meter (peer to peer) schemes. Helpful Qualifications Bachelor's - Electrical Engineering Master's - Engineering Management PMP Certification
