Work Location:

1701 E. Woodfield Rd., Suite 710, Schaumburg, IL 60173 Position may work remotely up to 75% of the time depending on project needs.

Job Duties:

Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs for client projects. Collaborate with multiple clients to assess their needs and develop tailored web applications using Vue.js and Node.js, enhancing user experience and system performance. Work closely with business analysts to understand the requirements of our customers and work with design mockups. Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code, with a good understanding of APIs (REST, event-driven/pub-sub integrations). Create libraries and components that are modular and reusable. Use the progressive Vue.js framework to create UI components. Use Node.js to write server-side logic and integrate back-end API services. Translate the technical specifications into code. Design and implement scalable application architectures, ensuring maintainability and efficiency for client projects. Develop dynamic user interfaces with Vue.js, focusing on responsive design and optimizing performance to deliver engaging user experiences. Build RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express, facilitating seamless data exchange between front end and back end. Test, update, and optimize the application to ensure high performance and security. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality code, promptly identifying and fixing bugs. Participate in Agile development processes, conducting sprint planning and retrospectives for continuous improvement. Use of JavaScript, Vue.js, Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, Typescript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Jenkins, Git, SQL, MySQL, and Windows.

Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL. 40hrs/week.

Salary:
